Journal — July 2019

Much like May’s Lüna Coffee, Calendar is a very new, very small, and very exciting roaster. Galway is a sleepy seaside town on the west coast of Ireland, far (at least by Irish standards) from the excitement of Dublin. Zarah and Dan met in London, years ago when they both worked at Workshop Coffee (who some of you may remember from our January feature). After a while, they decided to set out on their own and moved back to Galway, Zarah’s hometown. They’ve been roasting offically for 1 year, and we’re so impressed. Their coffees are all so delicately bright, and bursting with flavor. We’re obsessed with their art—designed by a very talented designer from Dan’s hometown of Cardiff, Wales. Anyway, we hope you love our Ireland feature; it’s good craic! Also, you may have noticed, this is our twelveth roaster. I can’t believe we’re coming up on a whole year of bringing you coffee. Thanks so much for sticking with us. It means more than you know. Dia duit.
