Journal — July 2020

Flight Coffee is a family of driven people that work together to produce amazing coffee, while always aiming to have the best impact they can on the industry and the lives it connects. Their focus is on coffee appreciation, education, and development. Education is key. Flight started when a couple of friends, all in their early 20s, wanted to do something different. They started their first coffee bar and within a few months were named Wellington's best cafe. They continue to lead the way for third wave (or whatever wave we're on now), and are working in some pretty cool ways toward the future of coffee and sustainability around the world. We're stoked to work with them and can't wait to see what you think. Stay hungry. Stay curious. Have fun.

We loved working with them last year, and can't wait to have them back. In the year since we had them last, we've gotten to feature several coffees they had a hand in bringing to market through their origin project Raw Material Coffee. Their project in Timor Leste is so exciting. We loved the beans Assembly sent us from there, and are excited to try Flight's roast of it as well.
