Regularly featured on world’s best lists, The Barn is a truly fantastic roastery. Just this week, they were named the best coffee roaster in Europe and the Middle East for 2019. Since opening in 2010, they’ve continued to leave their fingerprints on the coffee industry worldwide. This past winter, they reached out to work with us, and we’ve been planning a Christmas feature together for most of this year. Germany is the birthplace of so many of my favorite Christmas traditions, so it just felt right. But being honest, with the insanity of holiday shipping schedules, there aren’t many places that I would trust to ship us fresh coffee from abroad in December, and Germany is at the very top of the list. It arrived to Raleigh just 2 days after being roasted. Here’s to hoping USPS did as well.

Anyway, merry Christmas you guys. I’m so thankful for the privilege to source great coffees for you to enjoy. All 4 beans going out are really tasty, but we can’t get enough of the Christmas coffee from Huye Mountain in Rwanda, which we are sending you all with the warmest of holiday blessings.
